The Symbol Factory.NET Standard Control is the workhorse of the Symbol Factory.NET product. 

With this one component you can:

• Place any number instances on .NET Winforms in your application
• Choose it's appearance from 60 categories and over 3,600 professionally drawn graphics
• Adjust the control's color shading, appearance, background, and blinking on the Style Tab
• Transparent or opaque background style
• Blink at your choice of 3 speeds
• Turn on color change and blinking animations that are driven by data you pass in from your application. 
• The component does all the work for you.
• Up to 50 bands of user configurable animation - i.e. tie to as many alarm limits as you like!
• Animations triggered from analog value or discrete values
• Data can be supplied from .NET PLC drivers such as INGEAR.NET, or from OPC data sources using our OPC Extender, or you can bring your data in from anywhere you like, databases, calculated values, other OPC to .NET connectors or drivers - your choice.
• Change the control's appearance at runtime using VB, C# in VS.NET 2003 and 2005.
• Create piping diagrams
• Leverage the ISA standard symbol library to build animated P&ID diagrams
